Catholic Education South Australia

It is with fond memories that we look back on our time at St. Barbara’s Parish School. Coming from overseas, the school provided a warm, welcoming and inclusive educational environment in which my daughters flourished.

With a range of educational programs on offer aimed at assisting children at different levels, my girls were always stimulated and engaged academically.

As a family we are appreciative of the fact that the school had at its heart the Gospel values. What the girls have been taught and exposed to, they will carry with them throughout life.

The many wonderful activities like the school fete, book week, musicals and performances are just a few of the many things my daughter’s often reminisce about.

Parents thinking of a Catholic school for their children should definitely give the school a visit.

We lived in Roxby Downs for 9 years with both our girls starting their school journey at St. Barbara’s Parish School. We have since moved and spent time in Adelaide, Perth and more recently, Brisbane. Still, my girls think of their days at St. Barbs with much love and fondness.

The small school environment made my girls value the sense of belonging and being party of a nurturing school environment. Each child at St. Barbs is made to feel special and every effort is made to accommodate each students individual needs. The school offers a range of programs to either extend and support students allowing the children to grow in their learning.

We loved the family-orientated focus at St. Barbs. All the teachers and staff had a positive attitude to providing the best education for all their students. My girls have been the product of a school teaching community who inspired them to reach for the stars!!

Thank you St. Barbs…..

Our two children, Georgia and Tom, were very fortunate to attend St Barbaras for their early years of Primary School. We loved the sense of community and the level of care, compassion and kindness shown to all. When we moved towns we continued their education within the Catholic system as we were so impressed with the values instilled by St Barbaras. We credit St Barbaras for giving Georgia and Tom the best possible start to their schooling years.
