Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a framework for supporting whole school practices (schoolwide) to promote a safe school setting by supporting social, learning, behaviourial, and emotional needs of all students.
At St Barb's we explicitly teach the expected behaviours in all areas of the school. We do this through our focus expectations of "Being Safe, Being Respectful and Being Responsible.
Each expectation can be categorised into one of these behaviours.This is implemented at a classroom level as well as a whole school level.
